Gold Camp Castlemaine is a group formed in 2022 specifically to advocate for a more appropriate plan for Camp Reserve.

Our community cherishes Camp Reserve and perceives that the endorsed Master Plan will permanently erase the topography, treescape and vistas of a highly significant place. The former colonial Government Camp is Castlemaine’s premier historic precinct. It is the last remaining Commissioner’s Camp, and the military parade ground, Camp Reserve, is a main component.

Important change to fundraiser Art Auction on Saturday

NEWSFLASH

Due to overwhelming generosity we have way  too much to auction on one day. We will only auction the Art, section 1 of the catalogue, on Saturday 5 August. The jewellery, ceramics, glass, textiles and objects will form a 'Spring Auction' details to be announced. There will be a display case of sample items from the Spring Auction.We apologize for disappointment this may cause. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
